Nursing Asst - MSP/FBCback

The Nursing Assistant is an integral part of the health care team who assists professional nursing personnel in the delivery of patient care in the Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics and Family Birth Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Nursing Assistant primarily supports nursing functions as planned and delegated by the professional nurse. Implements and abides by Customer Service and Behavioral Standards. In addition to direct patient contact, the Nursing Assistant is responsible for some clerical duties, assisting with maintenance of unit organization and assisting with codes as directed.

Essential Skills and Experience: Must be a certified Nursing Assistant and on the MN registry.

Nonessential Skills and Experience: Previous experience preferred.

Position requires a weekend and holiday rotation.
