Nurse Pract/PA - Occup Healthback

ROLE OVERVIEW The PA or NP is responsible for the acute care and day to day management of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (pain management) and Occupational Health patients (both our own internal employees and contracted businesses/employers within the Winona Community) presenting for care for acute issues/injuries and ongoing chronic physical medicine concerns. The position is also responsible to provide one weekend per month of coverage to the Urgent Care Center for acute care issues. To ensure that this position operates under all Winona Health and Community Memorial Hospital policies and procedures and State and CMS rules and regulations. The position is responsible to deliver the highest level of customer service and productivity for all patients at all times. The position will work closely with the physician supervisor in order to maintain standards of care that meet with the high expectations of Winona Health.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Certification for the state of Minnesota. Must maintain a valid license to perform mid-level practitioner functions (PA or NP) with the state of MN at all times. Demonstrates active participation in continuing education programs. Minimum of 2 years experience in a Clinical setting is desired.

Other Qualifications/Certificates/Licensure Certification required in CPR.
